After a crazy busy last 2 months I'm getting my website up to date. Images from ARL Rounds 2, 3 and 4 are now online. I will

After a very disapointing round 1 Steeves Motorsports was back on track June 18th-20th, 2010 for round 2 of the Atlantic Championship by the Atlantic Roadracing League. Between rounds 1 and 2 the team managed to squeeze in a few testing hours, experimenting with Geometry in an effort to find a good baseline set-up.
During the Friday trackday held prior to every ARL Round Steeves took to track for a couple hours of testing. We made a final geometry change, raising the front slightly in an effort to make the bike steer more predictably. The change worked and we fine tuned the suspension a little bit. We went home confident of a good race Saturday.
With the Superbike class being grided based on points Terry started from the rear of the field due to his DNS and DNF at ARL Round 1. Terry made a good start and was settling into a good rythm. He was steadily reeling in Matt Leahey on his Leahey Landscaping Honda. In the closing laps Terry caught Leahey, making the pass and pulling away. This put Terry into 3rd place and his first podium of 2010! The team was elated.
Sunday dawned warm and sunny and we were all upbeat after Saturday's podium. We were looking to repeat that success but we knew it wasn't going to be easy! Terry once again made a good launch and settled into a rythm, reeling in Matt Leahey. Once again Terry caught and passed Leahey, pulling out a gap. Terry was happy sitting in 4th with the lead pack of 3 riders too far ahead to chase down. On the last lap front runner Andrew Dunlap fell in turn 7, giving Terry another 3rd place finish. Not the way we want it ideally, but we'll take it!
After 2 podiums in our first 2 finishes of the season we couldn't be happier! The bike is working great and Terry is in the best shape of his life.
